One of Ruth’s clients used Technologies for Creating to design the path to her new book. She was surprised to find that the draft of the book coincides with her planned retirement. With a plan for the upcoming year that satisfies the needs of both brain hemispheres, this client looks forward to the task of writing her next book.
Sometimes it is difficult for “baby boomers” or other middle-agers
to recognize their talents and to initiate career change. In an Expressive
Arts session, you can explore which of several choices are in sink with
your body. Through storytelling and movement, you can explore career and
personal time choices that are true to your nature and stage of life.
One non-profit director, age 59, was told that working out extensively
with weights might improve her bone desnity. Through intention setting,
imagery and the visual arts, she found that she could combine a healing
mantra with the weights workout. She received good physical results in
a shorter time. She also got an insight to have an osteo-yoga class created
so she could work out with friends. Through diet, supplements, exercise,
and expressive arts, she feels better and is empowered to try new work-out
strategies.
